This sauce was taught by my Czechic father -in -law. When I was in Czech, I remember my father -in -law loved and enjoyed making pasta and sauces, he would make a huge pot of pasta sauce with fresh ground beef or ham. But it’s not that easy to make it taste good.[。。]
Sauerkraut goulash is a traditional Czech dish made from pork and often includes the German sauerkraut. It is usually served with bread or knedliky (Czech dumplings). The word “goulash” means “herdsman” in Czech, meaning that was originally a meat dish prepared by herdsman. Needless to say, a nice cold glass of Czech beer washes it down very well!
